The Basque Government has reaffirmed the Economic Agreement as a key instrument for safeguarding the welfare, social cohesion, and self-government of the Basque Country, marking the 45th anniversary of its restoration. Speaking at the REAF Forum held in Bilbao, the Minister of Finance, Noël d’Anjou, emphasized that this framework enables the Basque institutions to manage public services and implement economic policies tailored to the specific needs of the region.
